My Practice & Experience
Throughout my 15 year practice, I have treated a variety of behavioral health issues in various settings. In Ireland, I spent over ten years working in addiction services, including a residential drug treatment center, an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), private practice and outpatient care.
After I relocated to the US I worked at the Renfrew Center in Bethesda while completing my MSW.
Most recently, I spent three years at a co-occurring addiction treatment facility in Sausalito - Alta Mira.
“Sometimes the bravest and most important thing you can do is just show up.”
My work now is guided by my extensive professional experience and evidence-based strategies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) & Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
We will work together to understand what your challenges are and to create a plan for addressing them that will be guided by your needs in conjunction with relevant empirical research. I will work to ensure that you feel you are getting the care you want while we address your current challenges.
